power breakfast;
my recent purchase of egg poachers has me attempting to make my own versions of eggs bennies (minus the hollandaise sauce) for breakfast lately. although not perfect in appearance, this was a delicious way to start my day. a toasted multigrain fairmont bagel spread with avocado, topped with a poached egg over grilled veggies (red peppers, mushrooms, onions and zucchini), pesto and melted extra old cheddar from Jean Talon market.
